These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of www.melion.in (the "Site") and your purchase of products from MÉLION. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About us

MÉLION is a wellness brand selling sea buckthorn pulp concentrate and related food products in India.

2. Who may order

You must be 18 or older to place an order. If you are under 18 you may browse the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and any order must be placed by them.

3. Product information

We take care to describe our products, ingredients, images, pricing and availability accurately. Colour, texture and taste may vary slightly between batches, because our products are made from whole fruit and are not standardised. Product images are indicative.

Our products are foods, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, giving the product to a child, or taking prescribed medication, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order, before or after payment, where the item is out of stock, where a price or description was published in error, where your pin code is not serviceable, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

We accept prepaid payment (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets) through our payment gateway, and Cash on Delivery. A COD handling fee of ₹49 is added to Cash on Delivery orders and is shown at checkout. Cash on Delivery is available on orders up to ₹1,500, which covers a single bottle; larger orders are prepaid only.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card or bank details.

Prices, offers and availability may change at any time without notice. Changes do not affect an order we have already confirmed for dispatch.

5. Shipping and delivery

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Because our products are sealed consumable foods, we do not accept returns once an order has been delivered, whether the bottle has been opened or not, and we do not accept change-of-mind returns.

You can cancel any order free of charge before it is dispatched. Anything that arrives damaged, leaking, wrongly sealed, short-dated or incorrect is replaced or refunded in full, and we cover the return. Report damage or leakage within 48 hours of delivery, and a wrong item or a date problem within 7 days. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

7. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.

8. Reviews and content you submit

You may submit reviews, photographs, comments or feedback. By doing so you confirm the content is your own and truthful, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and share it in connection with our products and marketing.

Please do not submit content that is false, misleading, offensive, unlawful or defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights, and please disclose any material connection to us if you have one. We may remove content at our discretion. We do not edit, reorder or suppress reviews to make our products appear better than they are.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site unlawfully; attempt to hack, damage or disrupt it; scrape or copy content using automated tools; impersonate any person; submit false information; place fraudulent or abusive orders; or use our brand, images or content without our written permission.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, photographs, graphics, design, layout, logos and branding, belongs to MÉLION or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

11. Availability of the Site

We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.

12. Third-party services

The Site relies on third-party services including Shopify, payment gateways, courier partners, analytics and marketing tools. Their handling of your information is governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product concerned.

14. Grievance redressal

If you have a complaint, write to our Grievance Officer with your order number and the details. In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we will acknowledge your complaint within 48 working hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Sikar, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you may have under consumer law to bring proceedings where you live.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here with a new "Last updated" date. The Terms that apply to your order are the ones in force at the time you placed it.
